Handmade item. Material: Marble Dimensions: 14 W x 7 D x 11.5 H cm 5.51 x 2.76 x 4.53 Inch Ships Worldwide from Egypt A vintage handcrafted pharaonic tomb made by local Egyptian craftsmen out of marble from the city of history; Luxor carrying the most artistically canopic jars that hold the heart of the mummification notion. This handmade Tomb mirrors the one of a kind pharaonic tomb that is displayed with wings on its side . In ancient Egypt, winged gods were considered protective gods. They protected anything covering them with their wings, as well as surrounding walls, enclosures and temples that are decorated with a winged image of the god of Sun Amon Ra. These wings are believed to be symbol of lightness, spirituality, and the possibility of flying and rising up to heaven. Wings are the aspiration to transcend the human condition. The Jars inside posses the pharaonic inspiration behind preservation, where Anubis the god of afterlife initiated that each is for the storage of particular human internal organs: the stomach, intestines, lungs, and liver, all of which, it was believed would be necessary in the afterlife. Regarding the Heart the Egyptians believed it to be the “seat of the soul”, and so it was kept in the body. The mystery behind the dissimilar heads of the similar canopic jars is that each head represents four Gods are the sons of “Horus” ; God of the Sky . Each one of them used to look after one of those organs . Qebhsnuf was responsible for the intestine, Duamutef was in charge of the stomach , Hapi looked after the lungs ,and finally Imsety took care of the liver, and therefore they are uniquely differently covered.
