Its shades of yellow stand for the Sun and the Desert. The Egyptian Scarab goes back as early as 2345 B.C. It was considered one of the most cherished and well-known amulets in Ancient Egypt. It stands for new creation, eternal life and it functioned as an intensified protector against evil to the carrier. The act of the scarab’s excretion across the ground was thought to represent the journey of the sun across the sky. The idea of the scarab beetle laying its eggs in bodies of dead animals, Symbolized the notion of life being created from dead matter. As a result, this extraordinary beetle became a portrayal of Khepri, the God of the Rising Sun and eternal life. The scarab was a famous design for congratulating people and specially on the occasion of birth of a new child , not only that but it meant good luck and was used as jewelry . It is believed that the beholder of the scarab beetle is brought luck upon him.
